TL 9000 is a quality management system standard designed specifically for the information and communications technology (ICT) industry. It was developed by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) QuEST Forum in 1998 to ensure consistency and quality throughout the ICT supply chain. It combines ISO 9001 with additional sector specific requirements for ICT.
